Adopt-A-School Program

A mechanism to generate resources and provide interventions from private sector to uplift the quality of Basic Public Education System.

School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP)

It provides free feeding among undernourished learners to purposely improve active engagement in the teaching-learning process.

Learning Resource Management and Development System

Aimed at improving entry in various aspects of quality education, instruction and growth of teaching force resources in fundamental education.

Senior High School (SHS)

Two additional years in basic education curriculum that will equip learners with skills to better prepare them for the future whether it be: Employment; Entrepreneurship; Skills Development; and Higher Education.

Alternative Learning System (ALS)

It is a parallel learning system in the Philippines that provides a practical option to the existing formal instruction. When one does not have or cannot access formal education in schools, ALS is an alternate or substitute. ALS includes both the non-formal and informal sources of knowledge and skills.

Open High School Program (OHSP)

OHSP is an acronym for Open High School Program. It is an alternative mode of formal secondary education program run by the Bureau of Secondary Education (BSE) of the Department of Education (DepED) of the Republic of the Philippines.

Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP)

Is the national Scout association of the Philippines in the World Organization of the Scout Movement. Its mission is to imbue in the youth the love of God, country, and fellow men; to train young people to become responsible leaders; and to contribute in nation-building.

Girls Scouts of the Philippines (GSP)

The national Girl Scouting association for girls and young women of the Philippines. It focuses on well-being, family life, heritage and citizenship, world community, preparedness, economic self-sufficiency, arts and environment.

Brigada Eskwela

It is the National School's Maintenance Week that aims to bring together all education stakeholders to participate and contribute their time, effort and resource to prepare public school facilities ready for the opening of the School Year in June.

Gender and Development (GAD)

GAD commits to integrate the principles of gender equality, gender equity, gender sensitivity, non-discrimination and human rights, in the provision and governance of basic education.

National Eco-Savers Program

Aims to establish an ecological solid waste recovery system in school by encouraging students to bring recyclable materials in exchange for school supplies or cash.

National Greening Program

Is a massive forest rehabilitation program of the government established by virtue of Executive Order No. 26 issued on Feb. 24, 2011 by President Benigno S. Aquino III. It seeks to grow 1.5 billion trees in 1.5 million hectares nationwide within a period of six years, from 2011 to 2016.
